Pakistan News Protoday247 News: Earth quake tremors were felt in Islamabad and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Swat. Earthquake tremors were reported in Abbottabad, Swat, Mansehra, Haripur Khyber Agency, Chalas, Buttagram, Shangla, Lower Dir and the surrounding area.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department’s National Seismic Monitoring Center Islamabad the magnitude of the earth quake was 5.5 km and the depth was 96 km. According to Darius, the epicenter of the quake was Afghanistan’s Tajikistan border. This is the third earth quake this year in Pakistan. The first earthquake occurred in Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and some districts of Punjab in February-19.
