Mr Malik Riaz was born on 8th February 1954 in the capital city of Pakistan; Islamabad. He left his studies just at the age of 19 due to some ups and downs in his father’s business and started working as the clerk in the Military Engineering Service. And in the 1980s, he started a small business as a contractor and then he climbed up the ladders of success with his hard work. His net-wealth is approximately about 1.5 billion dollars. He is one of the top 10 richest people in Pakistan and securing the 6th position.
In 1995, he established a construction company under the name of Hussain Global banner. He then signed an agreement with Pakistan Navy for the development of gated community “Bahria Town” and after some time Pakistan Navy transferred the entire shareholding to Malik Riaz. He is now the owner of this huge project “Bahria Town”.
Malik Riaz developed Bahria Town under the concept of 6 business divisions that are: Education, Master communities, Media, Health Care, Recreation and Hospitality. It was developed for the betterment of the lifestyle of the rich communities and to bring everything within their easy access. He thought that the People won’t have to go far from the places to find their places of need such as; schools, parks, gym, Masjid, etc.
