The Chinese Foreign Minister Mr. Wang Yi had a meeting with the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan on Sunday.
In this meeting, Mr. Wang Yi was along with some delegation like Luo Zhaohui- Chinese Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, Yao Jing- China’s Ambassador to Pakistan, and senior Chinese officials.
Whereas, from Pakistan side, Shah Mehmood Qureshi– Foreign Minister, Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar- Minister for Planning, and senior officials attended the meeting.
In this meeting, the bilateral relations between the two countries and the other important matters of the both were the part of the discussion.
The Chinese Foreign Minister showed concern about the conflict between the two major rival countries India and Pakistan over the Kashmir issue.
He had earlier expressed that the tension caused due to this issue between the two countries may complicate the situation and China would never wish to happen so.
He also expressed his hopeful feelings for the settlement of the issue with peace instead of any violation. He also hoped that both the nations will maintain the stability and security of the regions without getting possessive over one another.
