PRIME MINISTER IMRAN KHAN TELEPHONED BILL GATES AND AGREED TO FIGHT THE CORONAVIRUS AND POLIO
Prime Minister Imran Khan telephoned Bill Gates. The two leaders agreed to work together to eradicate the corona virus and polio in Pakistan. According to private TV, the Prime Minister of Pakistan has called Microsoft founder Bill Gates to discuss the harmful effects of epidemics on health and the economy. The Prime Minister briefed Bill Gates on Pakistan’s policy on epidemics and expressed confidence in Pakistan’s national coordinated efforts.
Besides, the Prime Minister expressed the government’s commitment to counter the second wave of the corona. The Prime Minister said that the smart lockdown had saved people from corona and hunger. This time the implementation of SOPs is more complicated.
Additionally, the two leaders discussed the Ehsas program. The Prime Minister praised the Gates Foundation’s advocacy for vaccine delivery. He said that eradicating polio from the country is one of the government’s top priorities. He thanked the Gates Foundation for its administrative support for eradicating polio and told that the anti-polio drive was being intensified across the country.
Bill Gates praised Pakistan’s efforts to fight the epidemic and said that Pakistan fought the epidemic by reviving economic activities. Prime Minister Imran Khan and Bill Gates called for polio eradication and agreed on efforts to combat epidemics.
