Paige Confirms She’s Leaving WWE

Email :13

Though fans have known her as Paige for years, the professional wrestler will change her name to Saraya (as in her true name, Saraya-Jade Bevis) when she leaves the WWE on July 7. Paige stated in the introduction of her tweet message delivering the news, “Paige here.” “The 7th of July will be my last day with WWE. I’m quite grateful for the chances that the organisation has provided me.” Paige joined the WWE in 2011 and went on to become the first WWE NXT Women’s Champion as well as a two-time (and youngest) WWE Divas Champion. Paige would withdraw from the ring at the conclusion of those three years after a series of injuries between 2015 and 2018.

Paige’s story was told in the 2012 Channel 4 documentary The Wrestlers: Fighting with My Family, which was adapted into the 2019 feature film Fighting with My Family. “I believe the hardest thing, oddly enough,” Paige added in her message, “is having to let go of the Paige name.” “Saraya, on the other hand, is a fantastic name. That one goes to my mother.” But, as Paige points out, this does not rule out the possibility of her returning to the ring in the future “I’m not denying that I’ll ever enter the ring. That day will, without a doubt, come again! It doesn’t matter where the return is.”
Here’s Paige’s tweet from earlier today, in which she made the news and thanked the WWE for its support and chances throughout the years.

Paige has arrived!

The 7th of July will be my last day with WWE. I’m quite grateful for the chances that the organisation has provided me.

I’ll be eternally grateful to the firm that took a chance on an 18-year-old British pale emo girl who didn’t look like your ordinary diva, gave me the opportunity of a lifetime, and made me feel like a celebrity.

I know it was difficult to keep me around for as long as you did when my neck injury forced me out of the ring, and I appreciate it.
The WWE Universe owes me a debt of gratitude. You’re the most fervent set of fans I’ve ever witnessed. I hope you will continue to accompany me on this adventure.

Surprisingly, I think the most difficult aspect is letting go of the Paige name! Saraya, on the other hand, is a fantastic name. That one goes to my mother.

FYI I’m not denying that I’ll ever enter the ring. That day will, without a doubt, come again! It doesn’t matter where the return is.

Thank you very much, WWE.
