Kid Rock drunken tirade against Oprah Winfrey and Joy Behar continues: ‘I take responsibility for what I said.’
Kid Rock has refused to apologise for his drunken outburst in which he named-and-shamed Oprah Winfrey and Joy Behar in his Nashville honky-tonk in 2019.
During a recent episode of Tucker Carson Originals on Fox Nation, the rapper, whose actual name is Robert James Richie, remarked, “A drunk man’s words are a sober man’s ideas, I own what I said.”
Carlson visited Kid Rock when he was on tour, which included a visit to his ranch, in the episode “Life of a Rockstar.” When the two came together for an interview, the singer reiterated his thoughts regarding Winfrey and Behar, as well as his previous statements from three years earlier.

“I make no apologies to anyone.” I’m not a big admirer of Oprah Winfrey. I got intoxicated, and the next thing you know, I’m on stage [saying] f—- Oprah…” the artist continued.
Kid Rock was caught on camera saying “f—- Oprah Winfrey and f—- Joy Behar” onstage in 2019, according to TMZ. He also made an unintended assault on Kathie Lee Gifford, claiming that he wanted to say something about comic Kathy Griffin.
He claimed, “I was trying to go after Kathy Griffin for putting up Trump’s skull, but I’m so out of it I’m like ‘f—- Kathie Lee Gifford.” “I’m like ‘oh man,’ when it comes back on TMZ or anything a few weeks later.”
Kathie Lee Gifford is one of my favourite actresses. ‘Over the years, we’ve been friendly…now I’m feeling a little guilty.”
This isn’t the first time Kid Rock’s has provoked a squabble. Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk & Rock ‘n’ Roll Steakhouse in Nashville voluntarily closed in March 2020, ignoring a request from Nashville Mayor John Cooper to restrict bars and limit the amount of people dining at restaurants to help stem the spread of COVID-19, according to EW. After that, allegations appeared that Kid Rock and pro golfer John Daly attempted to go maskless during the last presidential debate between Donald Trump and now-President Joe Biden, despite the fact that both had been pro-mask requirement only a few months before.
