The federal government has declared a three-day public holiday for Eid-ul-Fitr, spanning from Monday, March 31 to Wednesday, April 2, 2025. This announcement was made through a notification issued by the Cabinet Division.

The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee convened on the evening of Sunday, March 30, 2025, to sight the Shawwal moon, which marks the end of Ramadan. Based on the moon sighting, Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated on Monday, March 31, 2025.

🐐 Eid-ul-Adha 2025 Holidays

For Eid-ul-Adha, the government has announced public holidays from Saturday, June 7 to Monday, June 9, 2025. This three-day holiday period allows citizens to observe the Festival of Sacrifice, which commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (A.S.) to sacrifice his son in obedience to Allah’s command.

The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee confirmed that the Zilhajj moon was not sighted on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, indicating that Eid-ul-Adha would be observed on Saturday, June 7, 2025.
