Email :2

Indicating a possible date for Eid or Eid al-Fitr 2021 in Pakistan, the country’s meteorological office has said there is no way of locating the new moon on May 12. Instead, the new moon is destined to be found on May 13. Consequently, Eid will be praised on May 13, Pakistan Meteorological Department or PMD has said. The blessed month of Ramzan began in Pakistan on April 14.

Under the lunar schedule, another month starts with locating another moon on the 29th of the progressing month. In any case, if the sickle isn’t found on 29th, the month keeps going 30 days. Since Ramzan in Pakistan started on April 14, May 12 will check the 29th of the fasting month. If the moon is located on May 12, Eid, celebrated on the first day of Shawwal month, will fall on May 13.

In any case, Eid will be praised on May 14 if the bow stays undetectable on May 12. In a proclamation, the PMD, as of late, said, “the new moon of Shawwal, 1442 AH will be brought into the world on intersection combination point at 00-01 PST on May 12, 2021 (Wednesday)”. In any case, the bow won’t be apparent on May 12, said the climate office.

It implies Ramzan will finish 30 days, and Eid in Pakistan will be commended on May 14. However, in India as well, the long stretch of Ramzan began on April 14. Hence, Eid will be praised either on May 13 or May 14.

Meeting of The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee

The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet on the 29th of Ramadan, May 12, to locate the Eid-ul-Fitr moon.

The gathering will occur in Islamabad with Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee director Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad managing it, the assertion said.

The gatherings of zonal panels would happen in their particular regions, while the focal board of trustees would accumulate observers from the nation over.

In the interim, the meteorological division said the introduction of the Shawwal moon would happen after midnight on May 12.

“There is zero chance that the Shawwal moon will be located on Wednesday,” it said.
