All public and private educational institutions in Pakistan will reopen schools in phases, Federal Minister of Education Shafqat Mahmood, as COVID-19 infections in the South Asian country continue to decline.

Grade 9 and up classes, as well as all universities, would reopen schools from Sept. 15 onwards, while Grade 6-8 classes would resume by Sept. 22. Pre-primary and primary classes, however, would reopen on 30 Sept.
