‘Emily in Paris’ Season 3: Is the McBaguette Real?
Just in time for Christmas, Emily in Paris Season 3 has arrived on television, and fans can’t wait to discover what Emily Cooper does next after a year of suspense.
The new season continues up where Season 2 left off, with Emily (Lily Collins) having to make the tough decision of staying in Paris to work with Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) and her new firm or going back to Chicago with Savoir.
In the end, Emily decided to stay in Paris with Sylvie, but soon after attempting to resign, she discovered herself working not only for Sylvie but also for her previous employer Madeline (Kate Walsh).
After Doug (Roe Hartrampf), Emily’s ex-boyfriend, was hired by McDonald’s as the company’s Associate Manager of Global Partnerships, things became even more problematic for Emily.
At Episode 1, Doug reveals that McDonald’s intends to start serving the McBaguette in its restaurants in France, and he wants Emily to spearhead the initiative.
The intriguing plot has viewers wondering: “Is the McBaguette real?” Everything you need to know is in Newsweek.
The McBaguette: is it real?
Yes, the McBaguette does, in fact, exist, and you can buy it at McDonald’s restaurants in France. In April 2012, as a limited-edition offering, the McBaguette made its debut on the French menu for the first time in more than ten years.
Since 2012, the McBaguette has made at least one annual appearance on the McDonald’s France menu and has only been available for a brief period of time each time.
The French-inspired sandwich is made with local Swiss cheese, lettuce, and mustard sauce and is available as a beef McBaguette or a chicken McBaguette. For a crisp crust, the McBaguette is also cooked in a stone oven.
Unfortunately, the McBaguette is only accessible to those viewing Emily in Paris in person.
Other French foods, like as croissants, pastries, and macarons, are also available on the French McCafe menu.
A contest for fans to win a “It Bag” from the show’s Baguette has been announced by McDonald’s in France to coincide with the premiere of Emily in Paris Season 3. A menu for Emily in Paris, which has the McBaguette and brownie & cranberry macaroons, has also been introduced by the fast-food company.
A meal package that includes fries and a medium drink can be ordered in addition to the McBaguette and macaroons.
Viewers of Emily in Paris Season 3 Episode 1 have expressed their surprise and delight that the McBaguette genuinely exists.
