The extremely-hit drama between a group of friends has us hooked all week, day and night. Okay, of course, we’re talking about Ehd-e-Wafa, which, given its dull beginning, has become famous for its combination of interesting characters and story, and a great cast to match.
Now, after 7 seasons, the viewer seems to have been thoroughly interested in the ensemble and its tribulations. Agent Saifee Hasan has done a great job of planning, and now people want more.
Ehd-e-Wafa to face delays According the local news media channel, 15 episodes of that same hit drama have come to an end. The script for the next series, however, is not yet finished, just until the 17th season.
This is deeply problematic, giving to the demands of the shooting schedule. Shootings need to be planned for 5 episodes in a row and right now, this seems impossible. Even the director is uncertain about when will the script for new episodes be ready.
If it wasn’t enough, some of the cast members were reportedly sick. You can blame the ongoing dengue outbreak for the fact that the cast members Ahad Raza Mir and Wahaj Ali have fallen prey to it.
Seeing how Ehd-e-Wafa is being fired all over Pakistan, including in Punjab cities like Lahore, Chakwal, Rawalpindi / Islamabad, Gujrat, Murree and Abbotabad, this was expected to happen.
Right now, Sajal Aly and Asif Raza Mir are on board, which is why updates on Ahad Raza Mir were not available. However, Wahaj Ali is confirmed to be feeling better after having been diagnosed with dengue a few weeks back.
We hope that all will turn out and that the team will quickly recover, Ehd-e-Wafa has left the fans hoping for more. Strong luck with Wahaj and Ahad for their health.
