Asset descriptions of SAPMs reported by advisors
Information minister Shibli Faraz said Saturday that specifics of the holdings of all the special assistants and advisors to Prime Minister Imran Khan are now accessible for public viewing. He said the specifics were posted on the website of the Cabinet Branch, as ordered by the prime minister.
Four out of 15 prime minister special assistants (SAPMs) are holders of dual nationality while three have overseas residencies. Many with dual nationalities included Zulfikar Bukhari, British citizenship; Shehzad Syed Qasim, U.S. citizenship; Nadeem Babar, U.S. citizenship; and Tania Aidrus, a native of Singapore and Canadian nationality. The three SAPMs residing abroad included Nadeem Afzal Chan, a permanent Canadian resident; Moeed Yousaf, a US resident; and Shahbaz Gill, a US green card holder.

Nishtar has a total bank balance of 14.8 million Rs along with her husband. The only vehicle, a Honda Civic (2014) is in Nishtar’s husband’s memory. Nishtar owns Rs500,000 worth of jewellery, and inherited 9.6 marlas land in Peshawar.
Nadeem Babar is Petroleum Division Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, with the rank of Minister of Defense. He holds Rs2.184 billion of assets including several properties in Pakistan as well as international destinations. Babar has stakes in more than two dozen Pakistan based companies. He still has American nationality. Muhammad Usman Dar is Premier Special Assistant on Youth Affairs. Dar holds 60 million rs worth of properties.
Lt Gen (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa is an unofficial Unofficial Assistant to the Prime Minister on Intelligence and Broadcasting. Its real estate is worth Rs151.433 million. Shares priced at Rs3,100,000 were purchased in the name of his aunt. One car was identified in the papers, the 2016 Toyota ZX, worth Rs3 million. Two Islamabad bank accounts have Rs291,000, and Rs1,239, respectively. Lt Gen Bajwa also has a $4,149 international bank account kept in Rawalpindi.
Tania Aidrus is Premier’s Special Assistant on New Pakistan. Aidrus has four immovable assets owned outside of Pakistan — two in the US and one each in the UK and Singapore — which have a value of Rs452.69 million when translated to Pakistani rupees. The properties are on mortgage in Singapore and the US. Inside Pakistan, the Premier’s assistant has no real estate. She has a Rs12.51 million stake in a venture fund and has reported $95.790 worth of foreign account remittances to Pakistan.
Aidrus has a bank balance worth Rs34.39 million in different accounts in both Pakistan and overseas, while her husband has cash in international accounts worth Rs9.29 million in debt. She owns a car, Toyota Fortuner and Rs5 million jewellery, the documents have been revealed. It has Canadian and Singapore nationalities.
Mohammad Shehzad Arbab: With the rank of Federal Minister, Mohammad Shehzad Arbab is Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Government. Shahzad Akbar holds holdings in excess of 50 million rs.
SAPM on Overseas Pakistani Zulfikar Bukhari has millions of rupees’ worth of properties in London. In 2006 and 2007 his father offered him two pieces of property as a present, although he was also blessed with 1,210 channels and 91 channel ground. He received lands from his maternal family in Islamabad, too.
Shahbaz Gill owns Rs150 million of assets in SAPM on Political Communication. Health SAPM Dr. Zafar Mirza owns 57 million rs worth of properties. He also owns a Rs20 million house, and Rs30 million plots. His aunt holds Rs2 million Jewellery.
SAPM in the Shehzad Qasim Power Division holds three Rs6 million plots in Lahore, while it holds 3.5 million Rs plots in Gwadar. He already holds a total of six assets in the USA and the United Arab Emirates. He has Rs40 m in cash in various accounts. SAPM on Capital Growth Authority Ali Nawaz Awan owns Rs37.1 million in Islamabad, although it also holds Rs13.1 million in immovable land. Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, who is a Federal Minister-status Finance and Revenue Advisor, has Rs20 million in agricultural property, and his wife has a Rs130 million house in Dubai. He has transferred $36,000 (approximately Rs6 million) from a foreign account to a Pakistani bank account here.
In both Pakistani and foreign accounts, Dr. Shaikh has a total bank balance of 135 million Rs. He has a Mercedes E-Class, worth Rs5 million, according to the documents. PM advisor on the assets of Abdul Razak Daud are worth Rs1.75 billion, while the assets of Malik Amin Aslam are worth Rs1.44 million.
